Additional Resurrection Resources:

Sober Living Assistance

The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection is blessed to offer assistance for 2 weeks' rent at Sober Living Community residences in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. A limited number of grants are offered each month on a first-come, first-served basis. Please fill out all the information on this form and submit.

We also require a standard letter from your house president or leader stating that:

  • You are a member in good standing at your Sober Living Residence
  • You are in need of assistance with rent at that residence
  • The amount of 1 week of rent
  • Confirm the Name and Address of the House

The letter should be on letterhead or include an address block with the name of the leader, name of the house and contact phone, email, and address. Please submit it as PDF. Photos taken with your phone will not be accepted by our check writing system.

When the form and the letter have been received, an email confirmation will be sent to the resident. The checks will follow at the end of the month.
