Which area do you prefer to volunteer?

Our expectation is that you will volunteer for all four days of camp. 

If the area you select is full, please sign up for a different area or complete add me to the wait list to be placed in the area of most need.



Serve in a classroom with our youngest campers. Help lead fun and meaningful activities with the kids. Each room has a team of 3-5 leaders working together and all plans and supplies are provided. Classroom leaders must arrive early for camp each day and stay until all campers are checked out. 

Organize and deliver the daily snack to campers. Snack leaders will meet each morning to prepare the snack and then walk around the building dropping it off in the rooms at designated time. Snack leaders will also clean up after snack time. Snacks and snack plans are provided. 

K-2nd Grade

Serve in a classroom of 20 campers and help lead fun and meaningful activities. All plans and supplies are provided. Classroom leaders must arrive early for camp each day and stay until all campers are checked out. All plans and supplies are provided along with an awesome team to work with. This is one of our biggest needs! 


Help count and organize the VBC mission’s collections every day. Facilitate any mission projects the campers will be doing on site. All materials are provided.  

3rd-4th Grade

Co-lead a small group of 12 campers throughout the morning of camp. Small group leaders will also facilitate fun and meaningful activities within their small group that point to the day's theme. All plans and supplies are provided. Plan to arrive about 25 minutes early for camp each day. 


Stay on-site during VBC and be ready to assist any injured or ill child. Nursing or first-aid experience preferred. 

5th Grade

Co-lead a small group of ten 5th graders as they enjoy their own special camp experience in the student center with our Resurrection Student leaders. Small group leaders will also facilitate fun and meaningful activities that point campers to the day's theme. All plans and supplies are provided. Plan to arrive about 25 minutes early for camp each day. 


Welcome campers as they arrive, direct them to their rooms, and be a friendly source of information each day. Greeters are here from 8:15-9:30 and if possible, we could use a few greeters at the end of camp on Monday to assist with check-out from 11:15-11:45.  

Organize and lead games with all our campers throughout the week. Campers will rotate to the game station during the week. Leading the games involves setting up the game area, playing the game with the kids, and cleaning-up afterwards. Games take place outside and do require you to be active during camp. Game and game supplies are provide

Fill in for a missing room or a busy class. Floaters are available to jump in wherever needed. You will find out your assignment each morning of camp! 

Organize and lead a fun craft time with all our campers. Campers will rotate to the craft station during the week. Leading the craft involves setting up the room, doing the craft with the kids, and cleaning-up afterwards. Craft and craft supplies are provided.

 Special Needs Support

Be assigned as a direct support for a child with special needs so that all campers can have great week at camp! Information and training will be provided.
