The Giving Garden 2026
Summary:
Come get your hands dirty for a great cause! The Giving Garden, founded by a Resurrection family in 2023, is a gorgeous outdoor space where you can connect with nature, experience God, and help provide fresh, organic produce to those facing food insecurity across Kansas City. In just three years, we’ve donated 22,341 pounds of fresh fruits and veggies to the Resurrection Food Mobile and Food Pantry. With your help, we can grow even more! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or have never met a plant you didn’t accidentally kill, all ages and experience levels are welcome.
Bringing a group? We love that! Whether you’re looking for team bonding, mission work, an educational outing, or just an excuse to escape your inbox for a few hours, we’ve got you covered. Plus, studies show vegetables taste better when you’ve personally wrestled them from the ground (probably).
Come get your hands dirty, your heart full, and your shoes… well, you might want to wear ones you don’t love too much! See you there!
