Resurrection's Community Justice Ministry began with the desire of the congregation to close the Justice and Kindness Gap as articulated by our Vision 2030. Our goal is to pursue justice so that Kansas City will be more like the Kingdom of God. Join us for our Community Justice Serve Saturday event focusing on Creation Care. This will be a hands-on, family-friendly event all about composting and reducing waste! This interactive workshop will teach you how to turn everyday food scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich soil. Genesis 2 calls us to look after and care for the earth. We will learn ways to do that by talking about waste reduction and all things stewardship. Celebrate Earth Day by taking a simple but powerful step toward reducing waste and giving back to the planet.
