Join us in honoring the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during our MLK serve events on Monday, January 19. Flourish, Kansas City’s only furniture bank, partners with social service agencies providing wrap-around services to empower families overcoming housing insecurity. By collecting, repairing, and providing donated furniture and home essentials for the entire home, Flourish impacts lives. Join us as we help Flourish with their expansion to a storefront showroom space. Flourish provides an ENTIRE home of furniture and home essentials to individuals referred from 88 social service agencies throughout Kansas City. Volunteers will disassemble shelving, pack items from current shelving, re-assemble shelving in the new space, and help with other projects, as needed. All activities will take place at their location at 11971 Grandview Road in Grandview, MO.
