Serve with us at the Shelter KC Women’s Center. The Women’s Center supports women experiencing homelessness, many of whom have faced substance abuse and mental health challenges. Most have endured significant trauma, often beginning in childhood and continuing into adulthood—frequently leading to addiction as a way to cope with deep pain.
